i heart my zoku
it. is. freaking. hot.
today it’s 94 degrees in atl.
i absolutely hate the heat. but with two toddlers, i can’t sit around complaining about it. we gotta stay busy, and cool.
most days we play in the shade outside with a little pool, the hose, water balloons, and squirt bottles. we drink loads of water, eat light, and make tons of popsicles.
my sister bought me a zoku pop maker for my birthday, and can i just say, I’M OBSESSED.

what’s a zoku you may ask? just the quickest and neatest way to make healthy pops for your kids anytime you want.
all you do is pour your mixture (any juice, or zoku recipe) and wait about 7 minutes for your pops to freeze. that’s it! no electricity, no waiting hours… genius!
did i mention how pretty they turn out?

what i love most about it is you can pour almost anything you want it it. i make the kids such healthy treats! they love kefir pops for breakfast especially. (proud mom moment for me when i thought this one up)

kefir is loaded with probiotics, way more than yogurt and it supports immunity, and good digestive health. all i do is pour our favorite kefir in the molds, wait, and enjoy.

another favorite of our is “green pops”. i use bolthouse farms green goodness which is loaded with fruits and greens.

you can add fruits or veggies directly in the molds too. i’ve been adding mangoes to almost all our pops lately. sure beats crappy store ones, that are filled with sugar, doesn’t it?
the zoku is $50, and worth every penny. (you’d think i was getting paid for this post huh?) :)
i wish i had one to giveaway, but really imagine all the money you’d save buy not purchasing store bought popsicles anymore.
in my opinion, it’s a must for parents with toddlers! go ahead, get you one, and be sneaky with your recipes… they’ll never know :)
