i absolutely love having play dates. it keeps us mama’s sane, interacting with people that are over 2 feet tall, while our kids play and have fun.
i threw a play date at our house and decided to include a light brunch. i’ll take ANY excuse to decorate…
wanna see how the french toast was served up? too cute i tell ya! little chalkboard paper place cards were used to label the foods.
no brunch would be complete without cereal. my love for mason jars runs deep… i use them for everything. cereal in jars, with a spoon tied on with yarn… too too cute.
yogurt, cereal bars, and fruit/cheese kabobs were served. fruit kabobs are a super fun way to get your kids to eat fruits.
after our brunch. the kids (about 15 of them!) played outside with a little plastic pool i bought the night before and plenty of bubbles, water balloons, and water toys from the dollar store.
as soon as kian and kayden’s friends left, kian asked “who’s birthday was that?”
what can i say… go big or go home:)
